Q: Do you handle your own production?
A: We can print your logo on just about anything including T-shirts, Jackets, Hats, Posters, Stickers, Coffee Mugs, Frisbees, Mouse Pads. You get the idea
But if you have your own merch line and manufacturer, that's no problem either. You can send us the stock and we'll handle the online sales.
Q: Can you design graphics?
A: Absolutely! If you have your own designs, we can print them. If you have an idea, we can get it designed. If you don't know what you want, we'll come up with a design for you. And of course, we won't go into production until you've given your approval.
Q: Can you handle my tour merchandise?
A: We can manage all of your merchandise needs, including tour merchandise. We work with you to get an initial stock ready at the beginning of your tour and can restock you as items sell out.
Q: Will my CD and /DVD sales be reported on SoundScan?
A: Yes! Every CD and DVD that we sell that has a barcode is automatically reported to SoundScan.
Q: What kind of support is available? If I need to call, will I get a recording, or can I speak to an actual person?
A: You will never get a recording when you call Choice Merchandise (during business hours)! Our staff is here to serve you, and we will do everything in our power to make sure your experience is both pleasant and profitable.
Q: How will my merchandise and inventory be managed?
A: Our database keeps track of your merchandise inventory, telling us when to order additional materials and giving you insight into the "hot selling" items. These tools will let you decide where your merchandise needs to go, in terms of design and product alike, to take your sales to the next level.
Q: Why should I do a Presale? Can't my fans just wait until the CD is in stores?
A: We can offer more to your fans than just your CD! When working with a presale process, we can include limited-time promotions, such as autographed liner notes, bonus items, as well as many other items. Ask your representative what we can do to make your Presale a success! Also, a Presale is a great way to obtain information about fans' locations that can later be used for targeted marketing campaigns and concert tour routing.
Q: How much involvement will I have as far as website and email content is concerned?
A: Clients are fully involved in all content! Should you prefer that we manage your content, that can easily be arranged, but most artists prefer to write their own updates. Fans respond very well to personal updates from artists, and we encourage each client to take the initiative in connecting with the public. If you decide to let us handle it you'll get to view and approve the look of your website before we go live with it and before we send any emails.
Q: Does Choice Merchandise require that I license materials, images or recordings, or are you a service for artists?
A: We are a service! All clients retain licensing on their materials. Choice Merchandise acts as a distributor for your merchandise, and the use of all images, recordings or materials is fully at your discretion.
